FLESH CONVERTERS - is meat murder? (2000)
… is a contribution to the debate concerning ethics in animal keeping, and our right to use other living creatures for our own benefit. Is meat murder, and in that case, do we accept murder?
Has been performed in Norwich, Great Britain, in November 2000, and at Fylkingen in Stockholm in December 2000.
FIVE EASY PIECES (2002)
… consists of five movements, originally sketched out during a week at the Centre for Composers in Visby, Gotland, in April 2002, and completed at the EMS Studio in Stockholm that same year.

Commissioned by Rikskonserter for the Inventionen Festival (Berlin) 30/6 2002.
We are happy to have the fortune to live in a time when all thinking and reflection is taken care of for us by people with a profound and deep feeling for justice and human rights.
These great thinkers will handle all problems that can rise out of difficult political situations in the poorer outbacks of our planet.
For or against - be sure you´re on the winning side.

Andante – allegro – adagio - moderato serioso
A 12 1/4-tone experiment for quadratic piano, influenced strings and edited percussionists.
At the first performance at Fylkingen, 2000, dancers Minna Kiper, Kristiina Viiala and Linn Johansson co-performed.
FÖRKLÄDD GUD (GOD IN DISGUISE) (2001)
Electro-acoustic suite in nine acts.

Percussion: Sebastian Åberg
Contains fragments from Slutförbannelser by Rolf Enström.
GOD IN DISGUISE is an attempt at writing a longer piece, consisting of short movements but held together by a unit of lyrics. I’ve chosen God in Disguise by Hjalmar Gullberg as a foundation for my music.
In order to get away from the Grande Swedish sound the lyrics often take on in the mouth of a trained actor, I let my good friend James (originally from Kenya) read them.

THE ARKHAM QUARTET (2000)
This is a time when politicians handle social problems of society by ignoring them. In Sweden, for example, one has shut down mental hospitals and thrown out the patients into a reality they are unable to cope with.
One sees them wandering about begging, hounded by the public transports security guards.
When you encounter these people, remember - this situation might not be selfimposed on their part!
This is music as played by the mentally wounded for the criminally insane! |

The voices comes from the speech program in AppleWorks:

A sound/sculpture installation with artist Anna Romgard and lighting designer Jenny André that turned out to be a combined exhibition and dance performance.
Seven dancers (Cyntia Botello, Marcus Doverud, Jukka Korpi, Anna-Tora Jonasson, Anna Lord, Paloma Madrid and Malena Sjöstedt) took part in an exploration of an inner landscape of grief and longing and went through a playful catharsis-process in a room full of clay.

Three musicians (JL, Marcus Wrangö and Sebastian Åberg), two videoartists (C. Anders Wallén and Zachris Trolin) and eight dancers experimented together for one week at BAC (Baltic Art Center) in Visby. The result was an intermediaparty together with the audience that lasted for nearly eight hours.
